Today I met my sons for the first time since giving birth to them 5 days ago. They are almost a week old, tube fed, incubated and Ryan, the smaller one is not feeding well. He weighed just 2 lbs at birth versus his twin, Joshua who weighed a pound more. It is night time, and time to go home as the hospital did not have any rooms free for me to sleep in. Day 3 as supposedly a mother to twin boys, currently in a NICU at a different hospital to the one lying down in right now.
